2002 has been a bumper year for baby ferrets. We have 5 white ferrets, 5 dark ones and a few silver babies as well. This weekend, I took them out into the garden for a photo opportunity. They are about 4 weeks old right now. The only way to keep them all in one place was to put out a dish of food for them.
What a feeding frenzy they had !!
Those who couldn't get to the dish started to explore in the grass.
Aren't they cute?
and inquisitive?
One of the silver babies came in to the kitchen for a drink of milk. We had to use the lid from a jar of jam as a saucer would have been too big.
Little Robert wasn't as interested in the ferret as the ferret was in him!
We don't have names for the new arrivals yet, but Dad is working his way through thelist of names in the guestbook. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the ferret name book so far.
